Pricing
The day is split into three sessions: 08:00 - 13:00, 13:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 23:00 (23:45 Fri/Sat). Session times include set-up and clear-up times.
Meetings
The costs per session for meetings, talks, classes, activities, exhibitions, fayres and theatre/musical performances, children’s parties (but not adult parties), are detailed in the following table. Both rooms must be booked for children’s parties and other activities which are likely to be noisy and disruptive to other users

Hire Categories
Regular Hirer
Regular hirers are defined as those who book the Deben Hall or Kennedy Room more than five times in a 12-month period.
Commercial Hirer
A commercial hirer is any business registered for VAT.
Deposits
A deposit may be required for any hire at the absolute discretion of the Bookings Secretary. All or part of the deposit will be forfeited by the hirer if there is significant damage to the hall or if the Trust incurs additional cleaning costs as a result of the hire. The full deposit will be returned promptly after a satisfactory hire or once all expenses have been paid.
Hourly Sessions
At the absolute discretion of the Bookings Secretary, and subject to availability, the Deben Hall may be booked for hourly sessions. Please contact the Bookings Secretary for further information.
Funerals
The Trust will take reasonable endeavours to make the Hall available to the family of a deceased resident that wishes to hire the hall for a funeral reception or wake, at no charge.
All donations to the Waldringfield Village Hall Trust to ensure its continued viability and availability to future generations are welcomed and gratefully received.
Catering, Cleaning and Stage Set Up
Options are available; please discuss with the Bookings Secretary at the time of booking.
Wedding Receptions
For wedding receptions, the whole hall will be available from Friday afternoon, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. The costs are detailed in the following table.
